The cute rice shaped body is an original design by Ka Lani The Strings, inspiring the name " Rice Ukulele".

It uses the gorgeous Hawaiian Koa wood for the top, side and back of the body. The characterics of the Koa produces a soft tone, creating a model with a more solid sound.

As the "embryo bud" becomes a cutway, so it can be played at a high position.

It also uses gear type pegs created by Goto, to make turning more smooth.
